About St. Johns Virtual School
St. Johns Virtual School (SJVS) is a K–12 public school in the St. Johns County School District, offering flexible full-time and part-time online learning. Students learn at their own pace with local St. Johns teachers, using the FLVS curriculum aligned to Florida’s B.E.S.T. standards, and opportunities for live lessons and in-person connections. As a program of choice, SJVS expands academic options and lets students learn anytime, anywhere.
The St. Johns Virtual School Difference
- All instructors are Florida certified and employed by St. Johns County School District.
- Teachers and students have the opportunity to participate in weekly live lessons.
- Open course enrollment throughout the school year.
- All assignments are graded within 48 hours and essays are graded within 5 days so students and parents have immediate feedback.
- Students have the flexibility to engage in their learning anytime and anywhere they like.
- Full-time students have the opportunity to join enrichment days on campus where they can interact with peers and teachers.
- Students who need extra support are able to attend our academic days with an in person teacher.
