SJVS Flex + Home Education
Home Education students enrolled in our SJVS Flex + Home Ed option allows students to partake in FLVS courses while having the support from St. Johns County teachers. Students will be able to experience a flexible, high-quality online learning environment designed to support individualized education.
Students can access a wide range of FLVS standards-aligned courses while learning at their own pace and on a schedule that fits their family’s needs. This model allows students to take ownership of their learning, while parents and guardians are monitoring progress and supporting daily instruction. Home Education students do not have to participate in state testing. However, if the student chooses to participate, they must notify the district testing office (904-547-6049) as soon as possible.
With St. Johns County certified teachers, live lessons, engaging content, and the ability to customize course selections, SJVS Flex + Home Ed offers families with a reliable and adaptable pathway to meet their academic goals.
Please complete this form if you would like assistance with registering your child for virtual courses in Home Education. Once you complete the form, please allow 48 business hours for confirmation of course enrollment by St. Johns Virtual School. Course enrollment will only be completed once the Home Ed Notice of Intent has been processed by the Home Education Office.
